Discover Canyoning activity and abseiling near Barcelona

This is going to be a good experience for those that love this type of activity through gorges that will involve you running down wet slabs of rock, jumps into pools (depending on season), and slides we make our way down the canyon.

The day starts at the PaddleinSpain Centre Group – meeting a nice village called Horta de Sant Joan – check on google maps to see the location.) this is 2hr drive distance from the city of Barcelona. Or we can meet you on the train station of TARRAGONA  (and do the transfer from the train station the to the canyon and return after – check the train tickets on RENFE)

You will receive your equipment (need in advanced your sizes: weight, height and feet size) ,and you will meet your instructors. Afterwards  your instructor will give you a briefing on safety before  being issued with your kit which includes wet suit, neoprene jacket and helmet. This canyon is with plenty of jumps situated in Els Ports Natura Park (The total area of the Catalan Els Ports Natural Park is 35,050 hectares. The highest point of Els Ports Natural Park Catalonia is found at Mount Caro, at an altitude of 1447 metres, where there are marvellous views over the landscape below, including the River Ebro. On an especially clear day you can even see the Balearic islands and the Pyrenees from Mount Caro)

• Minimum age: 8 years
• Juniors must be accompanied of an adult
  
• Before your booking, please inform to the centre if you are exceptionally tall or overweight, or if you have any medical conditions, disabilities which affect your ability to partake in the activity
• Canyoning can be affected by extreme weather conditions, if in doubt please check with the centre before setting off.
