Half day tour exploring the Cueva Gigante in a Kayak

The day starts at the PaddleinSpain Centre Group – this center is located in Cartagena (Murcia). This excursion can be adapted to all levels with the kayak.

This tour is an easy excursion reaching the cave of “El Gigante” and located only 40 minutes away from the beach of El Portús.

You will meet your instructor, receive your equipment. We will be getting change, we will do some warm-up exercises, get an explanation of kayak paddling technique, briefing on safety and getting ready to enjoying the environment. Your instructor will be accompanying you all the time on board.

We will paddle from Beach of Portus reaching the protected area and cliffs of the El Roldán, until we reach the beautiful and virgin beach of Cala de Fatares.

 The instructor will organize the group and will take care of the safety of the group in the water. We will discover the most representative landscape of crystalline waters and great beauty until we reach the Cave El Gigante, this place is one of the most popular places for visitors.

It’s necessary known how to swim for this activity and you must be confident in the water.

Restrictions:

• Minimum age: 14 years
  
• Juniors must be accompanied of an adult
• All participants must know how to swim
• Before your booking, please inform to the centre if you are exceptionally tall or overweight, or if you have any medical conditions, disabilities which affect your ability to partake in the activity
